Sunshine in the Hooked and Locked CAL

Yesterday was a grey day here, with rain, and grey clouds, and the temperature went down. Crocheting a blanket is just a nice thing to do then. The blanket has reached a length now that it lays nice and warm on your lap while working on it. And if you’re like me and don’t like the cold, this is not quite a punishment, don’t you agree? 🙂

This week we will provide for some sunshine ourselves. We will crochet sunshine! When you’ve come to this part, the interwoven or locking crochet technique should be something that you manage quite easily I assume, so that won’t be a problem any longer. The last 2 patterns were quite easy to remember, so you didn’t need stitchmarkers for them. But the suns need more counting again. I have used my stitchmarkers, as you can see in the pictures, and I advise that you do that too.  See for yourself what you want, I’ve read some ladies found they were quite annoyingly in the way, and others found it quite handy on the other hand. So see what you prefer to do.

From next week on this will be a Mystery Cal

Until now you could see a bit what patterns to expect. From next week on it will be a surprise what patterns will be coming. I hope of course that it will be a nice surprise each time. It will be diversified anyway. And the hints are on the overview page in the release schedule, so you can start guessing 🙂 .

But now the suns

<Edit January 16 2019: The pattern is no longer available for free. You can buy it from my Ravelry shop (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/the-craftsteachers-ravelry-store). You can find the bonusweek pattern there also. The pictures for each part (see examples on this page here) are also available from this store: https://the-craftsman.zibbet.com/. >
