A new tutorial
I did a tutorial about mosaic crochet previously, but this time it’s a little bit different. The crochet method is exactly the same, but I now have different looking instructions and also the pattern charts are a bit different.

I will make a new photo tutorial with written text here. At this moment I don’t have time to do this, because I’m super busy on working on the pattern files of the mosaic crochet version of the Hooked and Locked CAL 2022. So please wait a bit if you really need that. If you want to you could do the previous practice piece on these tutorial pages (click here), but be aware that the written crochet instructions and the pattern charts look different!
Why a new tutorial?
A short explanation why: this has to do with the fact that I translated my interwoven crochet patterns (with the open squares) to mosaic crochet versions, and that you never had 2 or more double crochets next to each other, which made it possible to create shorthand instructions for that (which made it superfast to crochet). I now also have interwoven crochet patterns with solid squares, which cannot have these shorthand instructions when translated to mosaic crochet, so the instructions and the pattern charts are different now and actually suitable for any kind of mosaic crochet.
