In previous tutorials for crocheting in the round from the center, I worked with squares. I have now expanded my software so that I can also design rectangles from the center with accompanying instructions. The version that you see here is done with the basic open squares. Later there will also be a tutorial for solid squares and slanted lines.
For the tutorial here I designed a placemat for you to practice with. The pattern is free and can be downloaded a little further down this page. Above you see the front side, below you see the back side. The placemat is 100% reversible!
In the video I provide all the necessary explanations to make the pattern.
